Service Description

This immersive workshop invites you to slow down, tune in, and explore new ways of accessing your creativity. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Kudo, where the focus is on the process rather than the end result, we will cultivate a space for deep listening and intuitive expression. Whether you're a seasoned artist or new to the creative process, this workshop welcomes all levels of experience. We will delve into a variety of mixed-media techniques, including paint, ink, dry media, and word-play as a means to connect with your inner world. Through guided meditations and gentle prompts, we'll create a supportive environment for you to tap into your intuition and allow your inner wisdom to guide your artistic exploration. Journaling will provide a space to reflect on your experiences and insights, and to set intentions for your continued growth. This workshop is not about creating a masterpiece, but about discovering the power of the creative process and the profound connections that can emerge when we truly listen. Come with an open heart and mind and a willingness to experiment, and leave with a renewed sense of inspiration and self-discovery — and some finished pieces of artwork! No previous art experience required. Students should bring a journal or sketch book; all other materials will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

• If a class is canceled due to unmet minimums, weather, or other circumstances, we will issue a full refund or a class credit to you. • If you must cancel a class or workshop registration: • Please let us know in writing by email at prismartsworkspaces@gmail.com at least 14 days before the start of class. If we receive written notification before the 14-day cutoff, we will issue a class credit or a full refund of your payment. • If cancellations are made between 7 and 14 days before the class starts, refunds will not be issued, but half the amount can be credited towards a future class. • Cancellations made less than 7 days can not be refunded or credited. • We cannot issue refunds or class credits for no-shows to class.
